Posthole Digger Top-n-Tilt with a post hole digger

I am ready to purchase a 3 point befco model 200 post hole digger 48 digging depth and 12 inch auger.What are the advantages of the top-n-tilt verses the 3 point set up?Thanks for any information.coobie

To start with, the top link is removed when you hook up to a 3 point PHD. So with that out of the way that leaves the side link, or tilt link of the top and tilt. The tilt link allows you to easily adjust the side to side angle of the auger so that it is easier to dig the hole in a true vertical position. You can be sideways on a bit of a hill, (not really a good idea, but sometimes required) and adjust the angle so that you can drill a vertical hole. Of course you can do this with the std 3pt adjustable side link also, just not as easy and quick.
