I own a LB1914 what I think has a transmission driven clutch. When I push in the clutch the PTO/implement stops running. It is a bit of a challenge mowing with a brush mower in tight spots.

I am wondering how well a pto rear snowblower would work with this setup? I also have turf tires. Will front wheel assist be OK without chains? My driveway is flat.

I have a CK20 (s) Hydrostatic and also have a rear/pto snowblower. The same thing happens to me when I push the clutch in. Off hand, I can't think of any problems and am happy with the entire operation. No chains for me.

Is your LB1914 a gear or HST? Also, you may want to read the thread below abount using clutch with PTO device. In the below picture I have just gone through a snow drift with my CK20 and snowblower. That was last year and it looks like this year could even be worse. No complaints about the way my blower works.

This is my 4th winter using a rear snowblower for 2 200' driveways. First 3 years one was gravel but both are paved now.
Haven't needed or used chains even though I got stuck once or twice. Was always able to work my way out of the problem. Not sure what other dealers would say, but mine does not recommend chains.
Clutch release needs to be different with the snowblower than it would be with the brush hog. If you don't release it slowly you'll be snapping shear pins. Always carry a couple with me when I'm snowblowing.
LB1914 doesn't have an OEM or after market cab. Unless you want to get covered with snow, you'll want something. I made one with plywood, conduit and golf cart cover following ideas found on this site.
