They were calling for 4-8in. for me but now it has been lowered to 2-4in. Hopefully the lake effect will drop some more tonight and tomorrow.

You're nuts! I think you have too many tractors to play with. I was just mowing my lawn on Saturday, enjoying some Gore-bull warming. I'm not looking forward to plowing backwards for two hours in the dark. Do you have any slightly defective front snowblowers you need to dump off because the world economy is collapsing around us? Just checkin'......

Hey Rick, you can keep the snow, but no complaints if you want to send the misses up this way.

PS, my misses is from Miami, believe you me, not good days in the Dube shack when the snow flies. Although the mini boss has a blast sledding, she'll learn to ski this year, the little quad is a blast in the snow.

Man I can't wait to retire, sunny FL, me, my tractor and a piece of ground needing a hole dug, that's the life.

Just seeing that picture makes me hope that my Friday plane ticket back to sunny Provence goes through in the morning. I lived in Wisconsin pert near all my life and I sure do not miss the snow. Well I'm glad you like it. I noticed ou titled your topic pennies from heaven, does the snow generate sales for you or something?

Well, we got a dusting on the mountain last Friday night. We live on the eastern slope, but just a tad too far for my tractor. :D:D

OK, so if that's the view from where you live, I'm totally jealous.

I do have an amazing view of about 10 billion rocks of all sizes (not including the one on my shoulders) though and there is the occasional heard of chipmunks that wanders by every now and then. :)

David,
Any regrets on the move to the island? looks like beautiful country. Have you had any more trouble with your front axle since?

Rick keep it in the east I didn't get to winterize my cabin yet and I'm sweating it having frozen pipes and pump.

hopefully I will get to thaw it out this weekend.

Joel - I have to be more honest, my view is up the coast a bit more. I actually cannot see the telescope domes, I probably like it more. That newspaper picture was probably taken closer to Hilo - 20 miles from me. Snow melted before I could get a shot.

Steve. Only regret is that I couldn't have done it sooner. I've already made my intentions known, that where I die, my ashes stay here. :D:D:D

Tractor is up to 501 hours and no hint of previous lockup problem. Can't say my confidence has been restored yet. All I've done is mowing, I still manage cross wheel hangups on our rough terrain. Another week or so and I expect I'll be back to a lot of loader work around the pool build.

Easy Texasjohn - WSJ and I are good friends, and he did not make derogatory statements aimed at TBN members. He aimed the comment at himself. Besides, there is no restriction on political commentary, unless I'm missing a section of the "Terms of Use". He quoted me - "Gore-bull Warming", which is political commentary aimed at someone, who I don't think, uses this site. I may be wrong, because, after all, he invented the internet.....
