Anybody knows what is the box in the left side of the photo? The box is located on the right side of the RTV below the bed. We can see also this box on the Kubota web site photo's section.

Kubota Tractor Corporation | Utilty Vehicle RTV900

My guest is this box is related with the hydraulic tools but I can't see part no or info.

Give me your opinion!

/ RTV 900 1 million $ question #2
It's the Hyd. Resevoir for the power dump and power tools.

i was about to say thats what it was . there are no signs of it being a batter box plus the way he's runnin that saw it would need alot of fluid just to fill the hose. some people might think that you can just connect anything to a hydr pump and it's good to go but thats not true if you have a long hose or fatter hose you need more fluid so the bigger the reserve tank the better.

go over to the dealer and tell them "tanks" alot for only givin me half the stuff i needed.

Ya but I purchase it from the original owner... I need to find out if I can upgrade my model or may be I don't need it because the utility valve is connected to the bed lift tank on my version of the Turf RTV.

That utility valve you have it for low flow demand hydraulic like a quick attach blade, sweeper or hydraulic bed dump.

You aren't missing pieces,.. that is how that unit comes.

I was beliving my RTV was equip with this valve because I have the set of valvle for the bed lift and another set beside equip with another lever in the cab to operate it. The other RTV I saw was not equip with this second lever and set of valve?

Thats so you don't have to swap back and forth,.. like I mentioned they are for bed lift, front quick attach implements,.. like blade with hydraulic angle.

The plastic tank is not very good when hyd oil gets hot, so I am think that is what the metal tank is for.

That is the oil reservoir for the work site model. It is used for the increase oil volume that is required when using hydraulic tools such has concrete saws, chain saws, and post drivers......

Close...that's a Turf/Utility model with heavy duty work site tires and the larger hydraulic oil tank is more for oil cooling than volume.

No I am pretty sure the oil volume is just as important as the cooling, because when you increase the volume of the oil supply it will aid in cooling as well. Also the power tools require a larger oil supply than the hydraulics put out for the bed. Then you will have the additional volume that the hydraulic hoses will contain/need and what the power tools require. Which for some people could be 50ft of hose.

The original turf hydraulic tank was 1/2 the size of the current tank, and it still had enough volume to power all the low pressure hydraulic tools but it had heat issues. Hence the oil cooling system you see on it now, which works rather well. Yeah, the volume will help if someone goes with a 50+ foot hose but that is not the standard hose for these tools. The volume increase is more for cooling than anything else.

Can somebody 'splain the hydraulic saw to me?
just looks like a bad idea.

Its a saw with a hyd motor and a lever for a trigger, oil is just diverted through the motor when the lever is pulled,.. and when not, oil is cycled back to tank.
