Wheel Horse C-160 with Attachments
Model Year: 1976
We purchased this 16HP yard tractor with our property. It had a plow, 36" MMM and 36" tiller as attachments. I really was impressed that a tractor this old was so reliable and well-built. Except for some normal wear and adjustments for the E-10 fuels now used, this tractor was as trouble free and any one could hope for. The 8 speed (6F, 2R) gear transmission was a joy to use and could be shifted while moving if some care is used. It's a shame they don't build tractors like these any longer. We recently sold it because we only used the tiller feature and our new garden is WAY too large for a 36" tiller.
Pros: Build quality, Power, Controls, Attachments
Cons: Weight - heavy for it's size, Cost.
