Mahindra 4035 Shuttle Shift Problems
Hello, new to the forum, I have a 09 Mahindra 4035 shuttle shift that is getting very difficult to shift into forward and reverse. The cable is a long purple one and looks to be impossible to get...- Cutch78

Mahindra 4035 Gear
Model Year: 2012
Started out rough! Test drove at the dealer, purchased, set up delivery date. At delivery, as it was being backed off the trailer it sounded like it was missing running rough. Dealer said he thought it may have gotten water in the fuel and he put some treatment in the fuel and it would be fine. I used the tractor one time and you couldn't get the rpms over 2000 and it would spit and sputter. Called the dealer and they walked me though some things I could check while the mechanic was on his way over (hour drive). While I was checking the fuel pump (solonoid) tightened and everything was good. Now 10hrs. on tractor and when I get rpms up to 540 PTO range tractor spits and sputters. Thinking timing maybe? I love the tractor and when we get the bugs worked out all will be fine!
Pros: Powerful, ease of contols, looks good, price.
Cons: Bugs right off the bat.
