ford 7840 clutch problem
hi all.new here to this site.i have a 95 ford 7840sle and it is hard to select gears.its like as if clutch needs the slightest adjustment.i believe this is a wet clutch type.at every gearchange it...- OD01

Tires FORD 7840 REAR WHEEL SPACING.
GOT A FORD 7840 (91) AND WANT TO WIDEN THE REAR WHEEL TRACK , FOR STABILITY ON HILLY GROUND , ANYONE GOT A PRINTOUT OF THE VARIOUS OPTIONS , AS WOULD BE SHOWN IN A MANUAL . IT WOULD SAVE ME A LOT...- robert 7840

Loss of Transmission Drive
Model Year: 1992
Remove the battery leads and has had problems since with the drive. The fault is intermittent, sometimes it is put in gear and it moves but most time is does not. No fault code on the dash, adjusted the clutch pedal, changed the filters, checked the hydraulic low pressure circuit. Checked the wiring loom, removed the side of the transmission and checked all the spools and internal electrics, sent the control unit away and had it checked. Slowly running out of things to look at. Any ideas as to the problem would be welcomed.
Pros: Good tractor, as all Fords are.
Cons: I would like to be able to use it.
