Reliability is where I can't give too much yet! Within eight hrs it had a leaky rear wheel seal. The dealer was aware of the issue and replaced it, which they said was a upgrade! The rest of the tractor performs really well. It cuts good, has a sharp turning radius, a comfy high back seat, good starting, and he/hr. meter, which is awesome. So, having said all of that, hopefully the rear seal is not the beginning of a pile of trouble other reviewers have had. I guess it comes down to you get what you pay for! Hopefully I can give you a good review at the end of the year! Oh, and I would think twice before buying from big box stores due to warranty issues.

Pros: Turning radius, comfy seat
Cons: Not sure yet

The features for my tractor are the lamest ever there isn't even a cover for snow removal---it sucks!

I got a good deal or so I'm telling myself. The Cub Cadet LTX1042, a bagger unit, and a trailer to haul it home $2500.00. The 1042 was sold as a 2011 20 hp machine, but later after browsing the owners manual, the rider is a 2010, 19 hp!!! I don't squabble over 1 hp, but I still got a good price deal.

Pros: Good name, Good product.
Cons: Not being sold what I thought I was getting.

Good lawn tractor. Couple of flaws, one is the reverse mow switch, easily bypassed, the other is the fragile blades. Other than that, the mower does an excellent job even on rough terrain. Discharge is even, mulching is good, speed of tractor is acceptable. Gone through the first deck belt, the drive belt is still functioning. Not too bad, it has been two long grass seasons so far. Will probably have to replace the drive belt this year. Oil change was simple and easy to replace the filter. I would buy this lawn tractor again.

Pros: Smooth transmission, good steering, excellant parkinb brake
Cons: Little bit underpowered, blades, reverse mowing switch
