T1510 New Holland
Does Everything I Need It To
Model Year: 2011

I had a TC18 for a few years and it seemed fine until I used it hard and cracked the front axle housing. I decided to trade it in at the same dealer who gave me a good trade in on this new T1510. I first used it to clear up some trails that I had used a bulldozer to build years before. It went thru everything, including about 3 feet of muck while clearing. The main use for it is with a brush hog and that works nice. I was going to rent an excavator to clear out the silt in my pond that had built up over the years but decided to try the loader to see how it would do.(it was almost dry this year, but deep mud). It probably took twice the time an excavator would have done it in, but I enjoyed the satisfaction of using it instead. I used the loader at first removing the muck (I had the brush hog on the back for counter balance, otherwise it would have been impossible), then decided to put on a back blade instead. It pulled the much out a lot faster and had better traction going forward instead of backing out with the loader. Anything larger would be overkill for me as this does more than I could expect.

Pros: Durable and reliable
Cons: None

T1510 Review
Model Year: 2012

Nice tractor, very usable with a loader and the BH70X Woods backhoe. It has ample power for nearly all small commercial jobs. The only negative is when using the backhoe and elevating or swinging the boom and moving the dipper or bucket, the operation slows considerably due to low hydraulic system flow. It has plenty of digging power, but seems to be a bit short on volume. 8 - 10 GPM pump might help on this tractor.

Pros: Comfortable, easy to change attachments, power
Cons: Hydraulic pump volume

I got from local dealer as a kit with trailer etc. Has worked well clearing brush, mowing etc. But,the most amazing part was it moved a old 14x80 mobile home in reverse to light to pull kept wheeling but moved in rev fine.

Pros: runs great
Cons: too light

Bad Rear End
Model Year: 2013

My tractor only has 69 hr. and the rear end has a big crack in the bottom all the way. And I had to take it to the dealer that I got it from---not good, and I hope that new Holland will take care of it.

Pros: I have had 2 TC30 and got a T1510.
Cons: Bad rear end.

Timber Tuff 1510 N.H.
Model Year: 2010

Found low C.G. and maneuverability was best you my use in steep and timbered property. It serves my WoodMizer sawmill well with front loader and Wallenstein Skid Winch on back. Wood back hoe works very well when needed. Sometimes I think I could use a little more HP, but like it is keeps me from destroying any more than I already do. This little tractor is great in steep wooded areas where 4W.D. is essential. Feel safer on it than I did on my J.D. 850 .

Pros: Low and maneuverable.
Cons: 5 more H.P. would be good.

New Holland 1510 Review
Model Year: 2010

Great compact tractor for small/midsize property. I use the tractor primarily for mowing 5 acres with a 6' finish deck, along with plowing, disc and roto-till 2 medium size garden plots. Runs great, has enough pull and power to do any of my jobs. Don't have a front end loader, haven't really needed one anyway. Especially like the 4 wheel drive.

Pros: Power, features, hydro stat tranny.
Cons: None I can think of.

Great tractor so far, use it on a sawmill to load logs, gardening with a 6 foot roto-tiller, mowing lawn and just about anything else.

Pros: Good hydraulics, steering, 3 PTH.
Cons: Hard starting, have to always use glow plugs.

My New 1510
Model Year: 2011

So far this little tractor has not been put through the ringer yet, but as for build, cost to purchase, operating and service, "everything in the right place and easy to access". This machine leaves the other brands for dead. I had considered another Kubota as my last one B6200 had been very reliable over the ten years I had owned it, but after looking at the new ones, they are now not in the same league build wise as the New Holland. I will update as I use it, but can't see me saying anything different.

Pros: Easy to operate/serviceability 10/10. Built to last!
Cons: Nothing yet.

It performs great. Everything I need it to do is fine. One flaw is the left side needs a step. I am not tall, 5 ft. 8 in., and to step up onto the platform is a little high. P.S. looking for an aftermarket add on step.

Pros: None.
Cons: None.

I purchased this tractor new in Red Deer Alberta to use in our yard. It came with a factory quick attach loader, This tractor has been awesome, the hydro shift is great especially with the loader. It has great lifting capacity, We built forks for the loader to handle 16' logs for our sawmill. We use it for blowing snow, 80" 3 pth Farm King blower. We also do custom rototilling with a 6' tiller. Good starting in the winter. One of the best investments we made.

Pros: Good hydraulics, steering, 3 pth.
Cons: Not the best on fuel.

For Just a Little More Money Buy the Kubota
Model Year: 2012

I just bought this tractor and while I'm somewhat happy with it, I wish I'd have done more homework before buying. The multi-function use is very limited. It's very slow while lifting and tripping the FEL. The factory setting for the loader lift capacity is weak. The dealer showed where you can adjust the valve so it can lift much greater weight. The hydro model is nice for some tasks but is difficult to back up quickly after releasing the brake on a steep grade. I almost rolled into the ditch doing this. The FWD lever is in the way when in 2wd when you get on and off tractor. It could also use a step for boarding and a grab handle. I did however install a grab handle. I got an "oh ****" handle from the junkyard and it actually matches nicely.

Pros: Price.
Cons: Very basic tractor with some poor ergonomics.

Very Satisfied
Model Year: 2010

I purchased this tractor as a lease return with just under 60-hours on it, which turned out to be advantages since the dealer performed the first service plus dropped the price and still has a factory warranty. Since the basic design dates back to the mid 1980's Ford it's a proven platform and easy to work on. The lifting height of the front loader is higher than my brothers John Deere even though his is a larger tractor. I ordered a quick detach front loader from the dealer and added a quick detach for the 3-point from NorthernTool.com both of which I would recommend. Originally wanted a hydromatic but found the manual gearbox is actually better when using the 3-point. I did have to add work lights and disconnect the head lights since the front loader reflects the lights back and blinds the driver but I suspect this is a common problem. Also for stability on steep terrain having some weight on the 3-point (such as a box scraper) is necessary.

Pros: Dependable, easy to work on, time proven design.
Cons: Poor lighting.

Purchased this tractor new from local dealer. Traded an older TC24DA on it got a good deal. The T1510 is awesome for a 30 hp tractor. I have Plowed, Disked, Mowed, Bushogged/brushcut, and lifted and pulled and scraped and just about everything in between with this little beast. I could not have asked for a better setup on a small utility compact. The gauges are simple but effective. The operators platform is very open and everything is well planned. EXCEPT the Parking Brake lever.....it works but can get in the way from time to time. It is easy to get used to but also easy to forget. Overall this little tractor I hope serves me and my family well for years to come.... and if you want to know YES, YES, and YES, I would consider, buy, and operate another one if I could.

Pros: Simple design but effective. Lot's of power to the ground for 30 hp engine.
Cons: The only con I can think of is the parking brake lever. It works great; simple design, but sometimes gets hit with foot.

T1510 New Holland
New Holland T1510
Model Year: 2011

I purchased the New Holland t1510 because of its Simplicity, I got the manual 9x3 transmission not that the hydro is bad but just wanted a trans that has been time tested in my book. Also even though the tractor is in the smaller utility class it has some big tractor features and add-ons available if you check into them (ie rear remotes and adjustable drawbar). The tractor does everything and more that I have asked it to do this includes plowing (1-12 inch bottom plow but could pull two), disking (5ft disc), mowing (woods finish mower), bushoging (6ft rebel), and using 7 tooth ripper. It has had plenty of power to spare. If you are looking for a small utility tractor without all the bells and whistles, but will get the job done nicely this tractor will do just fine. As a side note though, I did add 200lbs of home made weight bumper to the front of the tractor so it didn't get too light when lifting in rear, and my model is 4wd. If you opted for the loader front weight would not be a problem. Overall, I see me owning this tractor for a very very long time.

Pros: Basic/simple design allows easy on and off either side w/o loader and maintenance is a breeze. Also moving/trailering made simple and you are able to use full size (6ft) equipment.
Cons: Cannot think of any.

Completely Satisfied
Model Year: 2011

I have various tasks to perform on 230 acres, and this machine works well for me. One minor complaint is that to run the woodsplitter on the back, you need to pull a lever that diverts the hydraulics to the rear .. but it's too far away to hold while running the splitter. I use a bungee cord to keep it held back, but the tractor should have had a way to clamp or hold the lever in the rear (diverted) position. Overall, though, I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Solidly built; no apparent cheap parts.
Cons: Minor drawback with rear hydraulic diversion mentioned above.

Had the tractor for 3 years - never fails to start, very hot or very cold weather. I use a Meteor 3pt snowblower to clear 1/2 mile of gravel road- works v. well. Also handles a box blade, grading blade and york rake for road maintenance. Plus runs a DR chipper.

Pros: Reliability.
Cons: I need a cab!

Love it!
Model Year: 2009

I love this tractor and it's ease of use. I used to snowblow 500 ft. of driveway with a large snowblower. This machine kicks snow's butt, and it has been able to handle all of my wife's landscaping demands...and then some!

Pros: Ease of use, well built, reliable.
Cons: FEL not as strong as I would like, but that comes with larger tractors.

T1510 New Holland
New Holland T1510
Model Year: 2011

I bought my New Holland T1510 after test driving one at my local dealer. So far I have 43 hrs on the machine and let me tell you! This tractor is stout and I have not been ashamed to work it! That includes plowing and discing a lot of garden space appx. 3 acres, mowing with a finish mower and bush hog, cultivating with single row cultivators and 7 shank rippers, raking 30 acres of hay (2 cuttings now on hilly terrain), and various other around-the-farm chores such as pulling small trailers, lifting items with the boom pole, moving 5x5 round bales with rear bale spear, and anything I can use it to help us out with. The tractor has preformed flawlessly for its size. It has very ample lifting capacity around 1600 lbs, and a very responsive hydraulic system. It is a bare bones tractor with no fancy features other than a heavily promoted cup holder which, in truth is not very necessary. I would rather see them put the auxiliary light on the rear instead of the cup holder. I have the gear model 9x3 and love it, owned a hydrostatic before and the way the gear shifter is near the steering wheel on the T1510 allows for a free and clear operators platform and still be able to shift the gears easily and smoothly. I cannot say enough about this feature I would recommend it to anyone who is wanting a reliable, ease of use, Geared tractor, Try it you will like it. They do make the T1510 in hydrostatic but just wasn't for me. Don't have anything against them just like the gears better. I like the T1510 also because it is all metal and very easy to maintain with no problem accessing grease pots on the tractor. This could be limited by the loader though as I do not have one so I cannot comment on the ease of maintenance with loader attached. I do recommend, if you do not get a loader at time of purchase and you want one in future to consider the price, the quotes I have got recently (5-2011) are between $4500 an $5500 and that aren't cheap. So, just a word of advice on that if you want one, go ahead and bite the bullet in the initial purchase and get one and finance it with the tractor. Another word to the wise if you do purchase this tractor without loader you may need front weights because the tractor has such a large 3pt lifting capacity for it's size the front end will get a tad light with a 6 ft brush cutter, which the tractor will handle if its a medium to light duty rig. Overall, I see the 1510 as a great small farm tractor (say 1-20 acres) and the only reason I will need a larger tractor will be to bale hay with in the future, but I also already own that.

Pros: Stout for it's size; all metal; clear and simple operators station; lifting capacity; The gear shift location beside the steering wheel.
Cons: Cup holder not needed, No toolbox built in.
