L1801 Kubota
Grey Tractors
Model Year: 0

The warranty was parts only, and only one month. The warranty ran out and so did the dealer. First it was overheating problems and so I fitted an overflow tank, and had to remove and clean the radiator. The battery blocks off much of the radiator air flow and so I have moved it. The air filter then blocks off the top section of the radiator so I have positioned it on top of the bonnet. I've also fitted a temperature gauge which is worth keeping an eye on when slashing in paddocks as grass trash blocks the screen and radiator. Next the main fuse kept blowing. The problem was that the fan belt was too short forcing the alternator against the engine block and shorting the active out. A 41"fan belt solved the problem. A rear wheel seal has blown and I have not fixed it. The transfer case has also started leaking oil. The tires are too light especially on the front and after many repairs I threw them away and bought 10 ply tires from a local bloke. The rubber on the tractor was new but the tubes were second hand, patched like hell! Going down a hill I used the brakes to slow down and had the ROPS hit me on the back of the head. Because of the 2 cylinder motor and the tread of the tires vibration loosens every nut and bolt on this tractor and it's a pain having to always tighten and check them.

Pros: A good tractor for moving sawdust.
Cons: I feel ripped off and cheated.
