BX25D Kubota
Buy A Deere Instead
Model Year: 2013

I have had more problems with this tractor in 6 months than with all my other equipment in the last 6 years. Oil leaks, paint peels off, tires loose air, fuel gauge does not always work throttle lever comes loose. Very unhappy with the product. Dealers are horrible to deal with problems...go to your Deere dealer!

Pros: None.
Cons: Quality, value for $, customer service.

BX25D Kubota
BX25D Initial Impressions
Model Year: 2014

Snow clearing, removed stump with 6' root ball, ditch clearing and bush replanting exceeded my expectations. Mechanical thumb only option.

Pros: Very economical to run. About 1.5 liters per hour or less.
Cons: Not a dedicated backhoe so a little slower.

BX25D Kubota
BX-25
Model Year: 2011

I told the guy who sold me this tractor that he has never sold one that will be treated more kindly! Because of severe arthritis, and back damage, I could no longer do much digging, shoveling, etc. I have used it to dig out tree stumps, push snow, and other things I can no longer do without help! I have really enjoyed it tremendously, it has a lot of power packed into a small machine. I have run full size JDs, Case equipment, and just have been very impressed with this little fella! I bought a 60" MMM for it last summer and it does a real nice job.

Pros: Lots of torque considering the size. MMM cuts very level and even.
Cons: None noted.

BX25D Kubota
Working Little Dude
Model Year: 2013

I have used the BX25D for many different chores and it has performed very well. I have dug up tree stumps. I have pulled logs out of the woods. I have pulled down dead trees. I have dug field lines. I have dug a large hole to bury some pieces of concrete, that I hauled with the front end loader. We only have a little over 5 acres, which is mostly in trees, but the BX25D sure has come in handy for many different chores.

Pros: My BX25D is a diesel engine and it is very cheap to operate.
Cons: The tach-o-meter is too small, and the oil filter is hard to change.

New Kubota BX25D
Model Year: 2013

This is my first tractor. I have 3 acres to mow and a gravel lane to take care of and also some snow plowing. Upgrading from a JD x320 48" MMM to this 60" MMM has saved me 30 minutes and cuts good. I bought a front plow for the JD last winter as it beat shoveling, it still didn't do the job, which we had a light winter. I'm going to use a rear blade and the FEL for this coming winter. The box blade has done wonders for my gravel lane and around the property. The FEL has been a glorified wheel barrow but I love it. Used the backhoe only a couple of times. Planted and replanted a couple trees. Re-dug a ditch that filled in with mud. The backhoe will get very minor use, but I didn't want to add it later. I have some future plans with that. After 7 months and 90 tractor hours later, I don't know how I managed with out it. Starting to get too old for the hand shovel any more.

Pros: Like the quick attach fittings and hoses.
Cons: Currently don't have any.

Bx-25D
Model Year: 2013

I traded my 2001 BX-22 this year for a 2013 BX-25D, and I couldn't be any happier. I have a great dealer here in hendersonville NC Moore Farm Equipment, it always a pleasure to do business with the Moores. I ordered my new BX with the quick attach kit for the the loader, and with the factory thumb. I'm enjoying the ability to change between forks and bucket. I also purchased an 18" wide bucket for the backhoe, which works awesome. I'm very please with my new BX, it seems to be more powerful, and quieter than the 22.

Pros: Many---comfort, dash layout.
Cons: Only complaint, it could use more lifting ability.

BX25D Kubota
Very Nice Machine
Model Year: 2013

After ten very good years of a BX2230 I decided to upgrade to a BX 25D. There are numerous small improvements over the 2230. The LCD display is very nice. Tach seems to work well. I have dug out rocks far bigger than this machine was designed to do. Great for digging holes in rocky New England soil. Loader has more lifting power than the 2230. I have RIM GUARD in the rear tires. I do have a bagger and that is much easier to get on and off than the older type, but does require a little more maintenance than the old style. So far it has been very good.

Pros: Great lifting capacity, great starting, bagger is easy on and off.
Cons: Mower deck is not a drive on like the Deere 1 series.

BX25D Kubota
My Toy
Model Year: 2011

My name is Juan Vega from a small town in Puerto Rico. I bought a BX25 in order to spend my time as a retired teacher. It turned out that I spend most of my time working around my small farm with this little devil. It's so useful. My neighbors say that I play too much with my toy.

Pros: Strong, reliable and easy to use.
Cons: The manual doesn't specify the number of the diferent components like, for example, the backhoe bucket.
