BX2350 Kubota
Body Panels
Model Year: 0

I have not been very pleased with the body panels. The plastic tabs have broken off causing the hood to rattle. That is really my only complaint. Otherwise this little machine is a work horse!

Pros: The whole machine minus panels.
Cons: Body panels.

In general, I'm happy with this tractor. A lot of power in a small package. Did have a hydro leak that was covered under warranty. Also had to have the fan belt replaced at 90 hours due to corrosion on the pulleys. Was told they see this when the tractors are used for snow removal and the salt corrodes them. This tractor has never seen snow or salt. First noticed an issue when the tac rpms dropped significantly and temp. gauge started to climb much higher than usual. Attachments can be somewhat hard to remove and reinstall but once on, work well.

Pros: Plenty of power for home use.
Cons: Attachments can be difficult to put on and take off.

It is a great tractor for hills. My yard has dangerous hills and this thing just won't slip.

Pros: 4WD.
Cons: Stops quick when you take your foot off of the gas.

Kubota BX2350
Model Year: 2010

I bought this tractor with just over 200 hours of use. Implements include a rototiller, belly mower, front mount snowblower, and, of course, the front end loader. Tractor and all implements have worked perfectly. Within the last two months, I have noticed a small oil leak coming from somewhere on the right side of the trans-axle. I'm sure it's just a 50 cent seal that needs to be replaced, I just don't know how much disassembly will be required to do the fix. The screen in front of the radiator is a bit of a pain to clean when the Poplar tree fluff starts to fly. But this is a problem with any tractor in this part of the world. Overall, I highly recommend this tractor.

Pros: Well made, good manufacturer support, large variety of implements both from the manufacturer and from after-market.
Cons: Parts can be a bit pricey.

BX2350 Kubota
Good Machine
Model Year: 2007

When the tractor was delivered I pointed out to the delivery/salesman that some of the fluid levels were a bit off. "No problem here is a list of what has been checked." The bottom line is, not much was checked, just the list filled out. Subsequently it went back to the dealer 3-4 times to figure out the hi-frequency whine from the hydraulic pump. The dealer was great in picking up and delivering free. A new hydraulic pump was finally installed and all has been good since then. This tractor with mower, loader and box blade has been a great unit after the initial problems. The really bothersome problems are the rattle of the plastic hood at start-up and idle and the fact that the engine rev's have to be about 1500 rpm's before the hydraulic will move.

Pros: Great engine and drive-train.
Cons: Plastic parts.

Great Little Tractor
Model Year: 2007

Only problem I had was a little plastic fan on the transmission (year 1). I made a cover for bottom to protect it when mower deck is off. Great little tractor other than that.

Pros: Reliable, easily maintenance, fun to use.
Cons: Kubota parts pricing, very proud.

My Toy
Model Year: 2006

This my second BX traded my 2000 model (just wanted a new one) they work great. It has a Loader, midmower, graderblade and just bought a front mount snowblower.I put about 75 hours a year on it cutting grass (1.5 acres) road maintenance (1/2 miles gravel driveway). Like to make a easy to remove cab Nova Scotia can have COLD winters.

Pros: Good size for what I want to do.
Cons: Would like the drive over mower connect like John Deere.

BX2350 Kubota
Great Tractor So Far
Model Year: 2005

I've had this tractor for almost 6 years and have put it to the test clearing 10 acres of old scotch trees and rough terrain. I wish I had bought a bigger model for the larger bucket, weight, and pulling power, but for the most part this machine has done what I asked of it. Only two problems - a crack in the platform (which the dealer fixed under warranty) and a lost headlight lens (too costly so we're going without). It tends to run too hot in the summer, but that's not a terrible problem. All in all, I'd buy another one - just bigger...

Pros: Quality machine; good power.
Cons: Too small - my bad; runs hot in summer.

Hard Stop
Model Year: 2006

I bought this on line used from a dealer in Va. People were great delivered as promised. Does everything I ask but should have bought one with a backhoe. Next time.

Pros: No problems..... none.
Cons: When backing up in high range it has an unpleasant stop.

Kubota BX2350

The BX2350 with mower deck and FEL turned out to be the perfect sized machine for our 14 acre spread. We have pastures, horses, gardens, and a one-mile easement into our place to maintain. We also have a box blade, chain harrow, landscape rake, and a 4' brush hog we use with the machine. The only real problem we have had was damaging the transmission cooling fan while running the machine through the brush without the mower deck on it the first winter. Fortunately the dealer fixed it for us for free; and unfortunately he has since gone out of business. Basically it's been a great machine. We couldn't have maintained the property without it.

Pros: Fair price, few maintenance problems, works great, relatively easy to work on.
Cons: Transmission cooling fan can be damaged by sticks, debris, etc., when running tractor without mower deck in place. Transmission tends to lurch in reverse, but this is not a major problem.

Al's BX2350
Model Year: 2006

I purchased this tractor to maintain my grass which is about 2.5 acres on a hillside. I don't think it was the best choice as I have to keep it in 4wd all the time while mowing or I lose traction. Now the front end has gone out and am looking to get it repaired.

Pros: Very reliable starting.
Cons: Easily loses traction on slight slopes.

Good, Bad, and Ugly
Model Year: 2006

Good: Strong diesel engine, solid mower deck, 4WD will take me anywhere and I go to some strange terrain. Bad: mulching kit doesn't do a thorough job--trail of clippings. Ugly: horribly engineered chassis--the engine cowling rattled loose and the exhaust pipe melted the plastic. The chassis itself actually broke from plastic fatigue where the footrest joins the rear fender on both sides! To their credit, Kubota did give me a replacement chassis for free after the machine was out of warranty, but the cowling looks like it got hit by an RPG.

Pros: Reliable and strong.
Cons: Chassis design.

After 3 years, I am very happy with tractor. I got the tractor, a loader, & a 60" mower deck. I have had no problems with it. I use it with 6' rear blade for snow removal also operates a 42" till with ease. It's very powerful & smooth. I had a B7100 before it and it was great, but this one is much more refined & has better features. My wife does most of the mowing with it & loves it.

Pros: 0% interest was the deciding factor in my purchase.
Cons: Foldable ROPS standard would be nice.

BX2350 review
Model Year: 2008

It's been two years and 300 hours later since purchase. Yeah, I know it's little, but I love my Kubota! Sure, it will take me a bit longer to get the same job done as a larger model, but get it done, I will! Absolutely zero reliability issues. I perform all of the scheduled maintenance myself and this tractor has performed flawlessly.

Pros: FEL and rear tiller saved my life!
Cons: I thought it was a tad pricey but what the hell.

BX2350 Kubota
BX2350, Diesel w/LA243 FEL, 54" Mower, Grass Catcher
Model Year: 2006

This is my fourth year with the tractor (300 hours) and I couldn't manage this hilly 3 acres without it. It had a common deck breakage the first year (covered under warranty). I've had no other problems, I just need to be careful on steep property (tipping with FEL full). I welded up a bucket extension for brush and leaves, (I'm not sure Kubota would approve). The four wheel drive is great for snow removal. 54" mower and grass catcher works pretty well for picking up mulched leaves. You think you have leaves, we have over 200 oak trees! The ability to dig is ok, not great, we have rocky red clay soil. You just have to go slow. I added a Land Pride rear blade this year, it works very nice, great for grading roads. The Tractor is a little pricey, or I would have given it a 5 everywhere.

Pros: Perfect for small family farm, good power, & great reliability.
Cons: I wish it had larger-wider front wheels, tips easy.

BX2350 Kubota
Kubota BX2350 w/ Loader
Model Year: 2008

I've had my Kubota for just over three years now. I have never had any problems with it. It just goes and goes whether it's mowing, moving dirt or gravel, or clearing snow. One slight shortcoming is the fuel filter location. The one before the fuel pump cannot be changed without removing the mower deck. Not a big deal most of the time except I got some bad diesel one spring and had to change it twice outside normal maintenance. Routine oil changes and lubrication are a breeze. We have some rough spots on our property. It would be a bit smoother ride if the front wheels and tires were a larger diameter but there would be downsides to that as well. If it were stolen I'd buy another without hesitation.

Pros: Easy to operate. Loader goes on and off easily.
Cons: Rear fuel filter access.

I was sold on Kubota based on previous experience with a Kubota engine in a Cub Cadet 1572 Super Garden Tractor. I believe Kubota's little diesel's are second to none in the world. Durable, strong, and tough. The BX chassis is very solid and all the welds look great. The paint job is flawless and proven to be very durable thus far. I have had no problems starting and operating in temperatures as low as 15 degrees F. I am very pleased with it. I have learned to feather the hydrostat pedal to deal with the abrupt stopping issue. In fact there are times the quick stop is desirable, such as when using the rear blade. The 60" front blade is very heavy built and the hydraulics are flawless. The float mode is easily engaged. My dealer is Beatty Implement from Auburn, IL. Have been buying Cub Cadet parts from them for nearly 20 years and it was a no brainer to purchase the Kubota from them. They have always had every part I ever needed on the shelf. I've used the service department 2 times over the last 20 years and the work was done right the first time.

Pros: Power, Hydraulics, excellent 60" MMM is easily removed and re-installed, excellent TPH lifting capacity, easy to service, easy smooth shifting into 4WD, smooth PTO shifting and engaging.
Cons: Abrupt stopping from reverse.

Well built and reliable
Model Year: 2008

This is a purchase that I should have made years before I did. It is solid, comfortable, and rugged. Dealer service has been exceptional. Hydraulic response is low at lower RPMs, and there remains some jumpiness in high range coming out of reverse (both issues corrected in the -60 series), so I dinged it one star in Build Quality for those two things. It does everything I ask of it and more. My unit had the updated seat and reinforced floor, so no issues there. Kubota rightfully deserves a major share of the SCUT market. I've added a tooth bar, a Curtis hard cab, and rear remotes. I have every confidence that this unit will serve me well for many years.

Pros: Excellent dealer service, well built overall, durable, comfortable
Cons: HST fan required add-on protection, sometimes jumpy in high range coming out of reverse.
