Deserving of "Legend" Status
Model Year: 1980
I don't know. I just got it back from the shop for what must be the fourth time in the 34 years we've owned and used it. Starts on the first pull. I mean, just because it works perfectly, has the best leaf shredded I've ever seen on it, is light, easy of access and operation, and for the most part is easy to repair, still---four times! I can see why Lawn Boy couldn't keep making these. No one ever needed to replace them.
Pros: Outstanding reliability, simplicity, lightness, and intelligent design.
Cons: Sometimes the chute clogs in wet grass.
