Zexel injection pump rebuild.

Does anyone out there know how to time the rack on a Zexel injection pump.
The pump is a PFR for a 2 cylinder Ford 1300.
The tractor had sat for years and the pump varnished up.
I didn't know how it came apart but finally managed to tap the pistons out using a brass punch, now everything is fine but when it finally came apart the piston and cylinder fell out on the bench and I am not sure how to reinstall the cylinder in relation to the rack.
I did put it back together once and one of the pistons is pumping but the other doesn't.
Everything is in very good condition with no rust spots so I know its just a matter of timing the cylinder with the rack.
Anyone with a manual or past experience would be a great help.

Hello Roko100. Hey i seen your post and wondered if you ever got this figured out?

I have a 1300 that i just inherited from my Grandfather and it has sat for 5 years. A few days back i put a new battery in it, changed the fuel filter and attempted to start it with no luck. Went ahead and began bleeding the fuel system through the filter and up to the injectors, however was not able to get fuel to the injectors. At that point i removed the injection pump and noticed that the two roller cylinders were moving around freely. I manually moved what appeared to be the throttle adjuster back and forth. after a couple of moves it seemed to free up and the cyclinders then appeared to be under load. I then reinstalled the pump and was able to bleed the system. The tractor now starts, but will only run for about 5 - 7 minutes before it dies. Also it seems that the throttle response will only work for about the first minute, then after the tractor seems to automatically go to full throttle and stays there. Regardless of the placement on the throttle lever.

Is it that this injection pump would be gummed up and need a rebuild? Any other tips...? Thanks for any info guys.
