Hi, new to the forums but not to Zetor. We had a 2008 8040 with a self leveling loader that we loved, but I really wanted a cab. I now have a 1990 8245 with an Allied loader.
We recently replaced the engine in the 8245. We used an engine from an 8011, and for the most part, it bolted up fine. I also had the clutch plate re-surfaced while it was out.
My problem is that, since we put the tractor back together, it is very hard to shift in and out of gear. There were some issues with it before, but it's significantly worse now. I'm not losing any brake fluid, and we replaced the master cylinder. I do not see any leaks on the slave cylinders, and I have vacuum bled the system with slight improvement.
Any help or insights would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
