zd-21 brake recall

has anybody taken their zd mowers into their dealers for the parking brake recall?? i haven't gotten mine in yet, supposed to at the end of the week. if have, is there any difference?? better/easier??

I can not figure out the problem! I have one of those machines with the effected serial number and I can see no problem with my machine. What is the symptom? I am not taking my machine in the shop, since I feel there is no problem!

I bought my ZD21 in late July. I have not recieved any notice from Kubota. Can somebody scan, and post it, or e-mail it to me? It would be interesting to see the serial number range.
I think the problem only surfaces when your on a hill, or incline. Something to do with humans only having two hands.

While we're opn the subject, has anybody had any trouble with their parking brake hanging up when unit is cold? Sometimes on mine, when I start it up and go to move it, I hear a loud noise from the right drive unit, and the right unit loads up. This goes away after moving a few feet. I explained it to my dealer, and he said it sounds like the brake pads catching. Anyone else expeirencing this? Thanks

my letter states they are going to install a foot-operated parking brake. only problem i have is that when you pull back on handle (the brake should release), the brake will not release and i have to take my foot and 'pull' up on the lever down on the floor to get it to release. boner i will try and remember to get serial #'s tomorrow when i get to office and post it. i think a foot operation may make it a little easier and quicker to get on and off, moving sticks, etc. out of the yard. it's like an act of congress to park and get off while engine is running.
