I have a little Yuchai bulldozer that needs new tracks no one in New Zealand stocks tracks for these but I believe I could probably get excavator tracks to fit the pitch is 109mm which seems to be common excavator pitch lots of sites sell aftermarket track groups but they all seem to list them by the equipment they fit but not show the full dimensions does anyone know a web site that shows the full dimensions of aftermarket track groups that links to brand/models of excavator so I can then order a track group for a say a "Komatsu PC10-5" set knowing it will fit my Yuchai ( I know the Komatsu one is the right shoe width and pitch but have not been able to find the other dimen

Are you sure you want excavator tracks? They have flat shoes that are designed more for turning than pushing. No grousers. How worn are your tracks? Have you been measuring the pins?

Hi Bob I have had quite a problem keeping the tracks on I have removed a link from each side probably need a second one out now and have to run the tracks much tighter than recommend the pins are quite hard and have only minimal ware the Yuchai chain-shoe is a one piece casting the holes the pins go though have worn oval so the chain has stretched the pitch should be 109mm now 112mm another option I am considering is to change too rubber tracks the factory supplied machines on rubber (like yours Bob) have a slightly different undercarriage with extra rollers do you see any problems arising if I ran rubber tracks on my undercarriage? I am not that keen on Rubber one of my neighbours has rubber tracks on his excavator the soft rotten rock we have around here is easy to cut through with the bulldozer blade but leaves a sharp edge that can cut rubber tracks. the advantage of the rubber is that it would likely be much cheaper and if I can match up with an excavator of same size /pitch ex stock rather than shipped from china three months away

The track frame rails (swing frames) on the rubber tracked machines have six bottom rollers, four of which are outer flange, and two are inner flange (outer-inner-outer-outer-inner-outer). The steel tracked machines have five bottom rollers (outer-inner-outer-inner-outer). I believe the swing frames are the same, I'd check for bolt holes on the underside.
Some things to consider when you're throwing track but haven't been asking for it :)hissyfit:): Check the idler and yoke to make sure they are straight with the swing frame. Check to make sure the swing frames are straight with the sprockets - possibly a bent cross shaft. "X" the swing frames to make sure they are parallel. There is a slight drawbar pull penalty with the OEM rubber tracks but I think that longevity outweighs it. The rubber tracks have endless steel cable embedded so there is hardly any stretching at all. It looks like the rubber or steel tracks from a Komatsu D-20 might work, but I don't know the pitch/length offhand. Mitsubishi and Hitachi also made similar sized dozers and excavators. I know Eastwind is no longer in business, but perhaps someone local bought their inventory.
