YT359C dome light activated by door switch

Morning y'all.
I'm working on the dome lot to be activated with a door being opened. I took the dome light off and found that you can add a ground to the bottom pin of the dome light switch, and that will activate the dome light when the dome light is in the middle switch position. I took a lot of the push pins out of the ceiling to lower it down enough to run a wire over to the left side b pillar to add a door switch. You do have to drop the screws out of the radio mount in order to run a wire across the inside of the ceiling. I should have taken pictures, but I did not. Sorry about that.
I haven't had time to install my door switch and make a bracket that attaches to the lower hinge of the door and close onto the about to be added door switch.

I forgot that I took one picture of the dome light switch wiring. The bottom wire that is taped up, that is the wire that you will add to and run over to the door jamb switch. The door jamb switch that I purchased from Amazon grounds to the frame, and has one tab on the back to connect to the wire from the dome light switch.

Howdy y'all
I finally got around to finishing the install for the dome light switch to be activated when the door opened.
I used a door jamb switch from Amazon. Tied it into the dome light switch and ran a separate ground wire all the way across the ceiling and down the b pillar. I decided to reuse an existing bolt hole on the door so that I did not have to drill anything else into the door frame. The hardest part honestly was getting the door jamb switch installed through the b pillar cover and actually into the b pillar. Everything works as expected and it's very nice to open the door and have a light come on to climb into the tractor.
