just installed a temperature guage in my YM-2000 after which I
noticed it only running at about 120 degrees F. I guess the thermostat
is either stuck open or was removed at some point. Considering how hot
it is here (central FL) a good part of the year is there any down side
to not having
thermostat? Also since the engine has some blow by, will this bloe
by increase at increased operating temperature? Thanks, Rich

The ym2000 doesn't have a thermostat.At an increased temperature
the oil will be thinner, but the parts will expand, narrowing
clearances. I'd say more blow by.
