Not comm,ing off with a hammer. going to get a puller out, but want to make sure it is just in the hole , not treaded in.

Use a larger hammer. It'll come off

Try soaking with some PB Blaster too.

Don't hit it too hard or you will break the steering arm. :(. Most auto parts stores will rent pullers like this --

Or just buy one. They are cheap.

Used a puller. It's off and Bent big time. I was digging the pond out bigger and bent it. It was bent a little when I bought the tractor.

So it didn't surprise me. Will straighten out and put a pipe sleeve over it.

Getting sideways in the mud put a lot of force on it. Going to let it dry out more before I jump back in to it. Better yet, I need to buy a bucket for the 3pt, instead of using the FEL.
