YM1500D (Green) Hydraulic Pump Flow Rate/Capacity?

Could someone provide the flow rate of the hydraulic pump on the YM1500D? I am going to rebuild an old Kubota loader and plan to install it on my tractor. The control valve is in bad shape and I may need another one. I want to make sure that it is sized correctly for the flow rate.

Read a post by Aaron with Hoyes stating factory pump for the 1500 is around 3gpm, also stated they had a higher output pump rated at 4.25gpm.

I assume that for a loader control valve with this low flow rate, I would need to stay with valves down around the 8 to 10 GPM ratings. Is that a correct assumption?

I am not a hydraulic guru but for what it it worth I agree with your opinion on sizing. My little understanding is you can go to small or you can go to large. Take this as a novice opinion and not as fact.

We have a hydraulics forum here on TBN. That may be a better place to get Hydro knowhow questions answered. Were experts on yanmars here. We got your pump output all day here, and some of us may be knowlageable on Hydros but the experts are in the Hydraulics forum. Not saying there not some among us but i think you may get better questions on your valves etc over there.

Awhile ago I was trying to assemble a collection of hydraulic pump specifications for all the Yanmar tractors I couldhere. If you look on your hydraulic pump, you will find a data plate with the pump model and some specification: Say, 4cc/rev or whatever. If you post what the data plate says, and share what the rated engine speed is for the YM1500, we would know for sure what the flow would be.

The data plate on the pump shows 5cc/rev with a pressure of 140kg/cm. what do those metric parameters equate to in standard measurements?

Found some additional information on this forum that shows 5cc/rev to equate to 2.38 GPM @ 2000 RPM and 1.32 GPM @ 1000 RPM with 140kg/cm converting to 2000 PSI.
