Yippie - Just got my New 4310

Finally got my new JD 4310 MFWD, 430 Loader, 47 BH, E-hydro with all the do-dads (technical term), Top-n-tilt /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Bad news is it has been raining all day /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. Will post pictures when the sun comes out. Question: How easy is taking off the backhoe and installing the top-n-tilt, any secrets? I've taken off my 48 BH about 5 times and it takes me about 2 minutes total. I dont have TnT, but it usually takes me around 10 minutes to get the 3ph (which I keep the i-match attached to) back on....

Not sure about the 47 though...I think it is the same procedure as the 48

Cngratulations man! I have a new 4410 and am anxious to learn how fast the backhoe comes off too. It's just that I've been too busy using it...

What can I say, but you have the perfect setup!!!

Hints:

[*] The backhoe is really easy on and off, be sure you have a flat place, and, well, this is all in the manual...

[*] The loader is really easy on and off, be sure to take pressure off the front tires, and well, this is all in the manual....

[*] The lug nuts need to be checked frequently during the, hey, that's in the manual..!

[*] Get a good wax job on everything, while its new, to keep it cleaning up nicely, finally, hint that's NOT in the manual!

BIG HINT: Read the Manual!!!

Two that have gotten me:

[*] Adjust the seat while you are sitting in it! The middle knob can break if you aren't on the seat!

[*] See if your dealer wants a nearly new Strongbox battery, and get an Optima D51R . It's When, not If the acid will get things, otherwise...

The hoe may seem a little wild at first, but it'll tame down and get used to you!!!
