yanmar 155\ 1700d
I have a Yanmar 155 and a 1700D. The 155 has a Yanmar loader with its own pump that is located at the front of the tractor and driven by a direct link to the crank pully. Has anyone tried to adapt a loader like this to a different model? I know that I may need to create a new subframe for the assembly. I would be greatly interested in the success or failure anyone else has experienced with respect to switching out a loader.
Thanks,
Mac

Sure haven't done it but wondering if the 1700 would be able to adapt to a front drive. I sort of doubt it but you could use the tractors hydraulics.

Using the existing pump and attaching it to the crank pulley, (as is done on the 155) does not appear to be an issue given the operator & owner manuals that I have for both tractors. The primary concern that I have is attaching the loader sub-frame to the 1700, and the ease or difficulty of making the switch.
