I do have one place I think will be able to match up the blades but it will be a few days before I can get over to there location 50 miles away. Thanks

I can't help you with the brand, but you can get replacement blades by measuring the hole size, width and thickness of the blade, and length from the center of the hole to the end, and direction of rotation.

It's much faster and less expensive to shop online or call around than to run all over the world looking.

Looks like a Servis or maybe a Modern?? I feel we can supply the blades with the width, length, thickness and size of hole (probably 1 1/2 inch)? Ken Sweet

The round pipe supports, and the trapezoid gear box mount give it away. They're in Missouri. They are absolutely the finest rotary cutter ever built, especially the tire drive units.

Do they still make the tire drive units? I heard a few years ago they had trouble sourcing that drive tire. I agree, that type sidewinder is one fine cutter! Ken Sweet

They are still in active business producing parts, but they are in a long process of reintroducing the units along with a complete line of "secret" stuff, but it looks like from my sources, that it may be 2 more years before things are up and running. They have plenty of tires for about 140.00 each.

That is good to hear, I was told that a few years ago one of the big tire companies owned the tire mold and were asking around $600 per tire. I guess Sidewinder has reverse engineered it and getting them down to a decent price now from offshore. Ken Sweet

Sidewinder claims their tires have never been that price. I too thought that, as that was my experience a long time ago, but they deny ever having that type price. The tire I had was good year. But they claim that when the company was inactive, and was being batted around, a lot of things may have happened in the interim.
