I have lurked on tbn for sometime now. Clearly the best discussion group out there. I used everyone's advice and although the cub cadet 5234 and Kubota 1830 had originally caught my fancy, one ride on the 2305 sold me. I have several dealers nearby here in western NY and my local dearler came through:
2305 with 200cx loader, 54 mmm, 54" front blade, independent mid lift and cruise for $14250. The other dealers were higher and were telling me it would be a long time to get a 2305 as they could only get one at a time.
Mine will be delivered next week and its chore list is long. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Congratulations! I'm sure you will love it.
Just broke 5 hours on mine. Mowed for the first time today, took an hour to do what took 3 hours with my LX255. Enjoy and post some pics!

Chipsndust, you've got to spend more time bonding with it. I've got 22.8 with the tractor (I think we got ours the same week), I wave to the wife and kids from the seat as they come and go. The hail storm (while on the seat) the day before Easter was a little rough though, but at least I protected the seat! Try to get out more.

I just left the dealer and tried the 2305 HST. Its very uncomplicated and smooth to drive. I'm not sure about power since I was only in the parking lot. You did very well $$ wise. I was quoted $13500 with HST and FEl. Tax not included I live in CA

Congrats on the 2305 purchase. I am sure you will enjoy using the little powerhouse. I have about 15 hours on mine and just love it.

The dealer called and will be delivering Monday morning. Great excuse to take the day off work and play with the new toy er I mean tool all day. I'll post pics when she arrives!

Piedmont:
I'd be interested in that, too. One time I managed to get the deck to stay up in the transport position (padlock symbol). Since then I have not been able to prevent the deck from falling slightly when lowering the 3PH. Anyone know if there is an adjustment?
