I was looking around my brother's new place while we were waiting for his new L3800 Kubota to arrive and found an old High Wheel Yazoo Mower under a piece of tin out behind the barn just like this.
The wheels were sunken in the dirt a few inches with vines wrapped around them.
Dragged it over the the Shop Building (Only shed with concrete floor) and started to tinker with it.
Oil was good, Deck looked good as did the belts.
Retrieved the sunken in the rim tire tube stems and added a little slime to each and filled to 35 psi.
Added a little fuel and found the rubber line leaked as fast as I put fuel in.
Replaced the line and fixed the throttle cable and added a little gas.
Pulled of the air cleaner element and gave it a shot of starting fluid and it started on the second pull.
That old Cast Iron Industrial 8hp Briggs engine sounded darn good and ran clean.
Did a few laps around the yard and cut sweet...
Not familiar with YAZOO mowers... looks like it was made to last and built like a tank!
