eBay/Craigslist Yanmar Tractors and Ebay

I have been watching this listing on Ebay. It started about the same time as one that has already been removed. It didn't stay long at all. I guess if you list hundreds of items, Ebay bends their rules for you /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

That would be my suspicion also. I don't think there is a problem listing a US spec machine, just grey market.

l purchased a Yanmar from those people last year . Their auctions are'nt very descriptive . My buying experience was'nt the best . Before you bid , ask them tons of questions eg; leaks , missing pieces , did l mention leaks , etc .

May not be a Gray Market but I think it has all the safety features a Gray Market does.

MCGREW EQUIPMENT has lots of tractors on ebay. It looks like they might be regional auction house since they have way more equipment forsale than most dealers would have.
I have called about several tractors, they are pretty straight forward about condition although the ads may not have specifics they will give them to you.

I may be off on this one, but what I understand is that Yanmar USA is trying to stop the dealers selling gray market tractors on ebay. I understand they don't make a issue with a private seller selling a gray market, just targeting the dealers trying to stop their sales and thus stop, or slow down the importing.

The tractors that I've seen disappearing from Ebay had no indication that they were dealers. Just looked like individuals selling tractors.

I don't understand how this one keeps selling when all others get kicked off.

As an earlier poster mentioned, the problem is with grey market machines only. Tractors sold by Yanmar USA are not a problem.
