Yanmar Radator Cap Pressure Rating

Could some one tell me the pressure rating for a Yanmar 1610D radator cap. I'm having problems excessive coolant blowby into the coolant tank when the tractor is running at normal operating temps. The radator fins are clean. I can get a replacement cap at the local parts houses but I need to know the correct pressure rating.

7 -12# will work. 12 is probably the lowest you will find in a parts store.

Most Yanmar tractor cooling systems are pressurized @ 12.9 psi and have a 13# cap. It sounds like you may have a little more than a bad cap.

Thanks, for the reply, I'm leaning that way too. The only thing that's perplexing is that there is no oil in coolant or water in oil. I'm going to check the pressure with a tester and if it's above 13lbs. I'll pull the head and go from there.

Do you have a recommendation for a service manual provider?
