Yanmar equivalent to JD 2305?

Hi,
does anyone know if Yanmar make a badge engineered version of the JD2305, or at least use common parts like the 2305's front drive axle on their tractors? I'm interested in getting an axle like that second hand for a project I'm thinking of.

neilpaku, don't believe so.I think the only thing they have in common is the engine.your engine is a YM 24hp. A YM 2210 has a 25hp engine but I doubt if anything would interchange between tractors. russ

what I'm really after is a front wheel assist axle like the one on the 2305 that I can adapt to another application. I like the size of that one and that it is a mechanical drive, not hydraulic. Any thoughts?

My JD dealer told me that "he thought" that my old 2210 was made by Yanmar, and rebadged and sold as a JD 2210. 2210 is basically the older version of 2305 of today. He could be wrong, but thats what he told me! :ashamed:
