Yanmar B65 backhoe attachment

I have just bought a yanmar a Ym 342VI-TL and tried digging with it and it has no power, and I'm digging through sandy loam soil. With about 4-6" of the bucket in the sand my upper boom won't drag it back. Any known issues or fixes?

You need to have the rpm's up if you want power

Thank you willy, i have it set in the manufacture recomended setting at 2200 rpm and with bucket in 6" of sandy loam i can not raise the upper boom.
