I just finished rebuilding my John Deere F935 new rings valve Job etc. I cannot get it to run above an idle. When rebuilding I unhooked the injector pump rack and didn't have any problem and no problem re-hooking the internal rod back to the pump and installing the little clip that holds it in place. There are 2 holes in that rod I have only seen one hole in all the pictures I have looked at. I thought I put it back in the hole it came out of, well just in case I moved it to the other hole. No change still just idles. Is there a spring or something that hooks on to the rod at the area to the left of the rack inside that cover that attaches to the rack that could have come off during rebuild? I never had the rear part of the pump cover off there was no need to, but when moving the throttle cable it never moves the rod that is attached to the rack? I have found no help with the 2 manuals I have, The JD Component Technical Manual for the 3TN and 4TN . Also the F935 Technical Manual doesn't show any diagrams of what goes onto throttle that rack other than what you can see when you take the side cover off? Is it necessary to take that rear cover off to locate the problem. I have never taken one off like I said before I have done a few of these with no problem. Main Problem can't get rack to accelerate just idles Throttle arm and cable move the exterior arm fine something is either broke or came loose but can't find a picture of it.
