Yanmar 324
Hello all - I'm new to this forum and would like to ask if anyone has had a similar issue with a newer (2015 model) Yanmar SA324. I am running a 48" Landpride cutter. After an hour or so of cutting, the PTO will not disengage with the switch. The PTO keeps running, the seat safety switch does not disengage the PTO when the operator leaves the seat (without the brake set) and the cutter will cut in reverse without engaging the "reverse cut " safety switch. I have the machine at the dealer where they ran it with a 60" cutter attached but are unable to duplicate the problem. I believe this is because they are not operating under load and heating it up. I realize they dont have a handy patch of brush for this purpose but at this point it sounds like they dont have a solution. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of problem?

Thanks

I don't own a Yanmar 324 and have never experienced an issue like that. Any way you can take a video the next time it happens?

Does is have an electric switch controlling the PTO or is it a mechanical lever?
