Yanmar 2700 w/loader

Hello, I have the chance to purchase a YM2700 2x2 with a loader labelled Yanmar 1620 with a 5ft bucket on it. Anyone know if this loader would be too big for my YM1610D and if it would bolt up?? The tractor has a blown motor but could be had for $2200 so I was looking at it just for the loader. Any help
ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 5 ft wide loader on my YM240 (YM2000) and I have the optional hd front axle. This is really more loader than this tractor wants - it has heavy steering and is light in the tail even with the loader empty. The large loader would be suitable for a tractor that lives on pavement, at an airport or warehouse, etc, (or a riding stable which is where mine lived for its first 20 years) but for my orchard use it really should have power steering. I don't see any evidence that the big loader ever damaged the tractor, however.

I think for your YM1610D a 5 ft loader off a much larger tractor would be far too large. Badly noseheavy, impossible to steer, likely to break something.

And $2200 is a 'hopeful' price, not a reasonable price in my opinion, for a broken YM2700.

I haven't heard of a Yanmar 1600 loader. Grey market loader? or maybe someone just decided to call it a Yanmar 1600 loader. I think $2200 is kind of steep for a no name loader & a YM2700 w/a blown motor. the YM2700 is pretty old with a lot of obsolete parts.

You should be able to find a proper loader to fit your 1610D for around that much. As others have said, the loader off the 2700 is probably too big. Also, you might not get much for the remainder of the tractor, and it is a big PITA to have something that big that doesn't move under its own power.
