Yanmar 2420D
I have a 2420D which I've had for over 2 years. It has been a great machine. I was recently moving the tractor, with a box blade attached, so I could change out the box blade for a 3-point backhoe, and the boxblade went all the way up (topped-out) and I cannot lower it. What do I need to look at????
The lever for raising and lowering the 3-point attachments doesn't do anything. The front bucket and all the other hydraulics seem to work fine. Thanks for any help I can get. Scott

Does your 2420 have the hydraulic leveler on the three point? If so, is it possible that you might have accidentally bumped one of the switches on that controller? Is one side higher than the other? Also some of these tractors had a draft feature that worked with the factory tiller. It used a mechanically linkage. It may be possible that the linkage on the tractor got pushed up or down giving the tractor a signal to move the three point up or down. I had a YM2620D and I am attaching a picture of the rear end. Look beside the toplink. You will see a white lever, I believe that is the linkage on the tractor for the draft. You may try fiddling with that on your tractor and see if it helps.
