Hello fellow Yanmar owners! This is my first post here and im a newbie to tractors as well so here it goes. I purchased a
yanmar 2210b not to long ago from a guy who's father had owned it and recently passed so he didn't know a whole lot about it but thought it needed a new water pump. Well after further inspection there was water coming out of the weep hole so i've ordered a new water pump, hoses, and gaskets. I changed the oil in it this weekend and it was black no signs of water or milky substances. It wasn't until I checked the radiator out when after a cold start it would build pressure quick and foam out, the temp gauge never went hot but im not sure it works though either. My question how bad is it to change the head gasket assuming it is blown. I know that service manuals are hard to come by and Ive never really worked on a tractor before. I am mechanically inclined though so hopefully it won't be so bad. Anyone ever experienced changing one out? Pointers, Tips? Something? I really like this tractor it starts up fine and runs great, I don't want to mess it up. Thanks.
