Yanmar 1810d
Hi all, just joined the forum, hoping there are other owners of old Yanmars who have already figured out this question:

I have a Yanmar 1810D, completely refurbished, had it about 6 or 7 years. Normally starts right up, but we have had a few days of unusually cold weather here in central Alabama - 16 degrees one night, 11 last night. Went to crank the tractor to move some firewood, was 24 the day after it had been 16 the night before. I got it cranked but I wasn't sure it was going to. I see I have 2 threaded plugs on the right side of the engine, which look to me like the spot for a block heater.

So - is that true? And anyone know what size/thread they are? Was hoping to find the answer without having to take one out to measure then have the tractor out of commission while I wait for a part order to arrive. Supposed to be a colder than normal winter here, so thinking my battery would like it if I gave it a block heater friend/sidekick.

Thanks in advance.

James
