Yanmar 1700 Arrived

My Yanmar 1700 arrived today. It's the older type (yellowish-green in color). She has 548 hours, new rubber all 4 wheels, repainted block, chasis and frame but the fenders and hood appear to be original with a lot of character. I like character. The hood raises from the front to the back like the hood on an older car. Pretty neat. New muffler with the flap on tap to protect motor, new battery, new sending units, a lot of new hardware including lift chains, fender bolts, etc. Only problem that I have found is bad left brake. It doesn't appear that the shipper tried to hide anything like you find on some tractors - what you see is what you get. Over all, very satisfied. It came with a Zen Noh 1200 tiller with very descent tines.

Looked at the pic, nice,

Most of the important stuff is still available. I'm not so sure about the addon stuff.. like light bezels. Try one of the dealers.. I've had good luck with Len Schaffer

I agree. That color seems right, classic, for Yanmars of a certain era.
