yanmar 1300 2wd gone; JD 650 4wd here

Haven't posted in a while, but last time I posted was thinking about selling my yanmar 1300 and buying a 4wd yanmar 1610 or 2210. Since then, came across a private dealer who my dad has dealt with and as a favor, sold me the tractor cheaper than normal. For my yanmar 1300 and 2 point tiller and 4 foot finish mower that I had a total of 3500 invested in, I got 4000 for the lot in trade in. Had to boot 2500 for it but having a 4wd tractor with fel, suited my needs better. Still a Yanmar but now green. It has one problem I need to fix 5th geer not engaging correctly and I have to fix that. Needs a little paint but other than that, seems great. Hope I did not make a mistake.

Glad you're happy with the deal. The 650 was a good little unit. I'm curious as to what a "private dealer" is?

Sorry for anything misleading, not a dealership but a private business that sells all types of farm implements in a small farmimg community. I took my brother with me who is very smart with repairs and he gave it a good thorough inspection. Looks rougher than my reconditioned yanmar but being a yanmar itself, I had a lot of insight already about it since I had read a lot about this site
