I read an article in the local paper (reprinted from the NY times) that Yahoo is changing their privacy policy to allow them to sell registered users names, addresses, phone numbers and E-mail addresses to marketers. Registered Yahoo users may want to look into the change. I read there is a way to request that you not be sold out.

Yahoo claims to be trying to stop SPAM on the one hand while obviously selling E-mail addresses on the other. If you send Yahoo originated SPAM to "postmaster@yahoo.com" they send you this form letter saying how hard they are fighting to stop SPAM. It's a real Laugher.

Boy, I'm glad I just changed my email address, and didn't get on to Yahoo groups to put the new one on. I think I'll just leave my old invalid address there. This site is the only place I have given my new address to.

I just went into my profile at Yahoo and scambled the info the best I could. I hope I got out in time.
