xx15 Recall, have you gott\'n it?
I got my notice Saturday (3/25). It deals with a design/assembly weekness. My dealer specifically warned me about it back in Feb '04 when I bought my 2615.
A short quote
"An imoprtant part of regular maintenance service requirements for your tractor and front end loader is to retorque the tractor rail bolts (refered to as engine frame bolts in your owner's manual). For a tractor without a loader, it is to be checked and re-torqued after the first 10 hours and then every 50 hours thereafter. For a tractor with a loader they are to be checked and re-torqued after the first 5 hours and then every 20 hours thereafter. Failure to perform this critical maintenance sevice can result in a cracked engine crankcase repairs not covered by your warrenty.
As part of ongoing improvement process, we are recomending you use Loctite 242 and retorque these bolts to 80-87 lbs.-ft. This will help prevent the bolts from loosening which can cause costly damage to your tractor and loader."
The 2015 and 3015 have 4 bolts on each side. The 2615 has 6 on each side.
