Anyone have either of these that can share some cab dimensions? I sat in a XU6168 today that was plenty tall enough, and technically wide enough, but seemed a tad bit narrow and not as roomy as I'm used to. Sat in a Kioti RX7320 and the cab was much more roomy, but for some reason they shoved the joystick too close to the right knee and put the gear shift on the left side. They also had an electric declutch button, but it didn't seem to work for shifting gears, only pausing the motor. I can only imagine how many times I would move the front end loader up or down when trying to shift gears. Don't know why they can't put the gear shift on the right side like every other tractor in America.
I'm kinda curious about the new MT5 series tractors that seem to come loaded with all sorts of options in a decent size utility tractor, but they're new and no one has one on the lot around here. I talked with a regional sales guy over the phone while at a local LS dealer and the best he could give me was bigger than the XU cab but smaller than the XP cab.
So if anyone has an XU or XP cab model, can you measure the width glass to glass above the seat to get a "shoulder width" measurement for comparison purposes? I'm trying to get an idea of how big the difference is between these two models. The local LS dealer doesn't stock anything as big as the XP. Or if anyone has an actual MT5 they could measure, that would be great too.
They did email me a copy of the owners manual, so I'll be going over that this weekend to see if it tells me anything.
