I have XR4140 and its doing the same thing.
F11 157 and will also show F11 94 as well as an F18. Will lose power or limp mode, die etc. If I unhook the battery it seems to delay it a while.
Getting pretty frustrated as the dealer has not helped. They swore it was just a fuel filter...but that didnt do anything for me after I replaced it (even tho its not due for maintenance)
Really sucks getting on my brand new tractor and wondering if the thing is gonna crap out again. Hopefully someone can help!!
Not sure if your issue is the same as what I experienced but the only thing I know to suggest is to try what worked for me.
I’d start by pumping your primer with the tractor off, you should be able to hear diesel cycling through the return if it’s completely bled and primed. If you can’t hear any fluid moving I’d remove the bleed screw and pull a vacuum until you get a decent amount of diesel out. Then tighten the bleed screw and pump the primer again 10 times or so to make sure there’s no air left. A brake bleeder makes the job much easier but a large syringe would work, or even some clear tubing you can hold against the hole and suck on the other end till you get fuel.
You can also try checking the main ground to make sure it’s a good connection and there’s no paint in the way. Also check your wiring and connections on the sensors. I’d check the connection to the sensor on the back of the fuel rail, and also the two connectors on the injection pump.
You can also check for proper flow and all your hoses and connections from the tank, filter, cooler and low pressure side of the pump.
If none of that helps it might be time to let your dealer check it out for you.
I want to thank everyone who took the time to respond in the thread and pm to help me out here. Y’all are good folks! Hopefully in the future I can do the same for someone! I learned a decent amount abt my tractor and she’s back to running like she supposed to.
