XR4140 Gas tank wire plug location?

Some brush or something grabbed the wire/plug that makes the gas tank needle work. Now it shows im always empty.

Its hanging straight down from the tractor middle facing down.

I cannot for the life me figure out where this goes.

Anyone know where this plugs in to? Any help is certainly greatly appreciated. Thanks

The plug should be on the top of the tank.

That was a pain in the butt! The wires on top are way short.....but I got the tank out of the way enough to clip back together and get it working.
