XR4046 Gear / TnT w 3rd Valve Front n Rear

Evening all, I wanted to chime in on my new XR4046 gear I received just before the weekend.

After much lurking and post reading for several months while vetting what I was really after, I pulled the trigger a few weeks back. The tractor was in stock, but they needed some time to get all my "extra's" finished up. I fretted for a long time over a cab or not as I really wanted one, but I came to reality as this tractor will get used alot in the woods here and at the 1800 acre hunting camp I belong to where we do alot of food plotting, brush moving, tree moving and so on. Trails can be tight, and I didnt want to tear up the cab, I am happy with the choices made, and I wanted to share.

Extra's include, aluminum ROPS hard top, hydraulic Top n Tilt, 3rd valve set rear, 3rd valve set front, and easy change between front and rear on the 3rd valve function. The dealer ( Goss Tractors, Jasper, GA ) did a stand up job, and I am very very happy with the results thus far. Since getting it home I also installed a set of Pats Quick Hitch sets for CAT1, and FYI to any interested, they went right on, no mods needed, simple. Also worked the tractor yesterday all day grading a freinds drive for him gratis ( just had to try everything out ) and not only was he quite happy, so was I Have some other "add's" to do going forward, but this will do for now until I get more time.

All n all, I think they did a brilliant job on the install, AND I must thank all whom post in the LS forums, you quietly helped my confidence with LS, and also helped direct me to what really counted with some add's. Thank you, thank you. Going forward I will be more active here in the LS section. Sorry for the misaligned pics, driving me nuts I couldnt get them orientated right but when you click on them, the do display right side up, go figure !

Thanks Boyd, Blessed and George. >Boyd, thanks for the comments, appreciate it. I saw your tool box in my reading and like the install. I also have had welded hooks on the bucket on my hit list, just haven't got to it yet. I like the tow eyes up front, might be havin to do those for sure. I notice on your 4047 that your fuel tank is up behind the seat. On my XR4046 its under the step on the left side which sure makes it much easier to fill, if not slightly more susceptible to damage. Also LS seems to now be installing a small plastic tool box behind the seat now, mine has one, but is not really big enough but will carry a few hand tools, pins and so on. Also plan on putting some more lights on my unit so I can mow at night when its cooler it desired. Probably a LED light bar as I have those on other equipment and they work great. As for the parts detail, I will have to do some legwork on that. The dealer organized it all, and I am going overseas tomorrow, so might take me a bit. If nothing else, I could pull the parts numbers off the Rexroth valves and supply those. I think they might've come through Woods-Tisco Parts ( tiscoparts.com ). The dealer looked at Fit Rite for the TnT kit, but they wanted 5 weeks lead time, and we said no way.

I have the same ones on the rear and and switch box on my canopy.
I will get a better pic of it.
I plan on replacing the front lights with a bar light and maybe the rear.
I just rolled 260 hours on mine this weekend.

I think you missed the lights looks like you are filling your tires.
