How do you like your LS XJ2025H's Belly Mower/Mid Mount Mower (MMM)?

Is the raising and lowering oif the deck connected to the 3 point hitch?

Can the mower be switched to operate off a hydraulic remote (with a float position)?

How well do you like your LS XJ2025H.

What is the max speed in low range?

Can you mow with MMM in high range going up hill?

I don't have a belly mower, but can answer part of your questions:

How well do you like your LS XJ2025H
Very much. Mine is for sale now because I want a larger machine overall - especially when it comes to loader height for maintaining shooting berms. But for the small size, it is VERY impressive what this little tractor can do. Compared to other models this size and HP, you really get a lot for your $. Some minor annoyances like key position and twitchy loader joystick, but overall many more pros than cons.

What is the max speed in low range?
About 5mph forward, 3mph reverse. A little more than 2x that speed for high range.

Can you mow with MMM in high range going up hill?
I don't have so can't say for sure, but I can't with a 5' bush hog. Never tried, and probably depends on the hill. But low is all I can tolerate and 5mph is fast enough for me. The smaller wheels - esp front tires, short wheel base, and overall light machine (even with loader on and rears filled), unless you are on very smooth ground, it just beats you up too bad to go any faster. So even if I could bush hog in high, I wouldn't choose to do that due to the rough ride it would cause.

I would add, I think either a bush hog or finish mower on the 3pt is a better way to go with this machine unless it's primary purpose in life is finish mowing a lawn type area. Don't know the exact spec but I think ground clearance is around 9" - so that would be greatly reduced with a MMM. For me, I'd be constantly on/off with it and would prefer not to have that hassle - even though it is a pretty sturdy drive-over and looks like a nice MMM. Belly mower is going to be around low to mid $3k price tag - that goes pretty far into a separate ZTR for a much more efficient mower depending on what you're doing.

I have the even smaller MT 125 and did not get the MMM. I'm actually able to run a rear 3 pt 72" finish mower. I only have a slight incline on my property and don't have a problem with it in low range. As CMV stated, any faster and it would get way too rough of a ride for me. I can take off the mower in about 5 min. The MMM initial cost is also rather high. With a 3 point mower, you can keep it if you ever upsize / upgrade your tractor. The MMM are tractor and model specific.

I didn't get the MMM either. The little LS is a good little tractor. They aren't very heavy, ~ 1600#s I think. If I'm correct it is a drive over deck. You won't be mowing up hill in high range though with this HST. Gear model?

If I get one it would be the hydro version.

If you are in low range are you having to hold the hydro pedal all the way down while mowing?

I'd like to be able to mow at 3 to 4 mph where its is smooth enough.

We would use it for the mowing yard, fence trimming and maintenance. We have a IH 424 for mowing the pastures and heavy work.

I have neck issues and looking behind while mowing is a pain.

You have several options. It has cruise control so you can mow like you were on a gear tractor if you want. Otherwise, vary the speed to match terrain with hydro pedal. Or just hold it to floor if your ground and obstacles can tolerate it.

If you have a dealer close, it is worth stopping in to check one out and do a test drive. If you're up this way, you are welcome to test mine - I have lots of rough terrain you can mow :)

I just use the hydro pedal to vary speed. Real slow over bad areas like big ruts or close to a drop off, as fast as it will go on a nice smooth area. I don't notice a loss of max ground speed in low with the bush hog engaged - I think I'm still real close to the ~5mph max speed in low with PTO engaged on level ground. 3-4mph is very realistic for fairly rough ground. Golf course fairway, mildly rolling - ~5mph the whole time is realistic.
