After the saga with the craftsman earlier this year I finally got it running (someone previous to me had screwed with wiring and labels)
I’ve pretty much decided on a x590 but I want to be able to have a jack of all trades. It’ll handle the snow work, the lawn work, towing, etc but I’d also like to be able to till with it (1) so I don’t have to rely on my neighbor and (2) I have a BOATLOAD of landscaping work I need to do and I really don’t feel like having eternal rubber arms the next few years.
My concern is I have heavy clay soil laced with rocks that range from pea size up to frisbee size. My garden plot is about 1/4 acre. The x590 is fitting into my budgetary plans and planning on getting a used tiller (they come up semi frequently around here)
Would this be too much brutal work on a 590?
I really don’t wanna have to go sub compact or the x700 Route. The prices people want for used tractors round here I may as well buy new and know it’s been taken care of right.
