Buying Advice X540 Deere Tiller 30" m03262X161062

Could use some guidance. Found what appears to be a 30" Mechanical Tiller that based what I am reading may fit my X540 but want to be sure before I make an offer. The model is m03262X161062 owner says it will not fit any 100 series deere. That said, he can offer little more. Did a bunch of homework based on the model number m03262X161062 with out any success. The question - will the m03262X161062 30" tiller fit on my X540 and is it worth $500..

Don't know anything about that tiller, but that number looks more like a serial number than a model number. Try posting your question in the JD lawn and garden forum. Good luck.

The tiller in your picture doesn't resemble the X540 tiller shown on the JD website. Their website also doesn't give price so you would need to contact JD dealer to get that.
