I tried posting this in the buying forum with no success and thought it might be more appropriate here. After 8 years of use wear and tear my seat for my 2305 is beginning to look a little ratty. I have tried to use yellow duct tape but this does not seem to work well. I recently bought my father the very same seat for his 1023 but my dealer has been flummoxed to find another one. I have seen one on ebay without the deere decale (who cares) but also apparently without the drill holes for the arm rests. So my question is actually two-fold:
1) Is the original JD seat even available anymore from the x 534
OR
2) can the replacement seat be modified to accept the arm rest assembly
Any input appreciated
