Ballast wwf on sale but its only 0degree

I have a question for you guys I found wwf at a local supplier on sale for 1.79 a gallon. My question is I was going to go with the -20 stuff but isnt that over kill for living in NC? If I stilled lived in PA i would def go with the -20.
any thoughts>?

No, buying this temperature rated windshield
washer fluid is not a waste as the straight alcohol
will help keep the windshield much cleaner for you
and if the air temperature gets to near freezing it
will not cause the windshield to ice up if the
glass is very cold.

This WWF is not a waste of money in any sence.

Are you wanting if for your windshield, or are you wanting it for tire ballast??

Might want to check places that sell WWF in bulk instead of a gallon at a time. You might be able to get it even cheaper than 1.79/gal. Ya never know unless you call around.

As to the 0 degree stuff, that depends on the climate where you live. If it rarly ever reaches 0 down there, then you will probabally be just fine. And even if it only reaches 0 or a tad below for a short time, you will still be fine. It would have to be SUB zero for awhile to freeze solid.

I got my wwf rated to -35 last fall at Menard's for $1.50 a gallon on sale. But I live in Minnesota and figured -35 might actually be necessary at times.
