Looking for a used compact tractor, prefer JD or Kubota. Looking for 40hp-50hp, with a factory cab and loader 4wd hydro. rochester NY area will travel. Been a couple of good deals, but work during the day gone by night. So any good deals you may run across would appreciate knowing about them

Check tractorhouse.com for appropriate tractors in your area. Some will be from dealers you can call and establish a relationship. Tell sales what you are looking for, they will do the work for you. In the meantime, you can always look at classifieds or craigslist for other deals.

Do appropriate research on buying a used tractor and what to watch out for. You will want a single owner, non rented piece of equipment most likely. These tend to have the lowest hours and least abuse. Good luck!

My advice...
Hang out on Craigslist daily...
Good deals don't last...
Good used cabbed tractors in the 40 to 50 HP range are highly desirable and thus bring premium prices..
A lot of folk tend to just bite the bullet and buy new for warranty, better financing...
The price differential is typically not that great...

This is what I did for both my Kubota's, the M taking about 2 months of daily looking and I just sold the first one, an L4630 GSTC , on CL.
Compare models, condition and hours to determine your best price when it comes along.
The tractors are out there.
